In 1917, the Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) was founded in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. In the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Science, and Social Science, it provides a variety of UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, M.Phil, and Ph.D. degrees through Regular Mode. Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) also provides UG and PG Distance Education mode (DEI DEP) courses in B.Com, BBM, M.Com, MBA, and PG Diploma.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) UG Admission 2024-25 :

Courses for BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BFA, B.Voc., and B.Ed. are available from DEI in a variety of specializations. A minimum of 10+2 in a relevant subject group is required for admission. A graduation degree is required for the B.Ed. Admission is determined by the student’s performance on the written test administered by DEI, which is followed by an interview, and their grades from the 10+2. To advance to the interview stage, candidates must receive at least 30% of the possible points in the written exam. Moreover, DEI provides Integrated BA, B.Sc., B.Com., and B.Ed. programs.

Important Points for DEI Admission 2024

• Female candidates exclusively may apply to the BA (H), BFA, B.Sc. (Home Science), and BA Social Science (H) programs.
• SC/ST and PWD applicants will receive a 5% mark relaxation.
• The Director of the Admission Committee will decide whether to provide admission to 20% of the seats in the supersymmetry division for all undergraduate courses.
• Applicants who submitted for any UG or PG degree provided by DEI but were unable to achieve admission would given one chance to convert their applications to a PG Diploma program based on eligibility requirements.

DEI M.Tech, MBA & PG Diploma Admission 2024-25 :

DEI provides M.Tech (Regular, Part-Time, and Integrated), MBA, and PG Diploma courses in a variety of postgraduate fields. /B.Tech in the relevant subject is the minimal requirement for M.Tech. Any bachelor’s degree holder can apply to the MBA program. The minimum requirement for PG Diploma courses is a graduate degree in the appropriate area. DEI runs a separate Entrance Test to provide admission, however candidates for MBA courses must also participate in an extra round of GD and PI.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) PG Admission 2024-25 :

DEI provides MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, and M.Voc courses at the graduate level in a variety of fields. All PG courses require at least a Bachelor’s degree in the applicable subject. Admission will granted after reviewing the previous academic record and the results of the Written Test, followed by an interview. DEI also provides MA and M.Sc programs in Integrated Mode.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2024-25 :

In addition to undergraduate and graduate courses, DEI provides M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in a variety of specializations. Candidates for M.Phil and Ph.D. programs must have completed a Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Admission to the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs is determined by the scores obtained on the Objective Type Written Test and the RET, respectively. The final admission decision is based on an evaluation of prior academic performance, an entrance exam, and an interview.

PhD application forms are available twice a year, in February and August. Every year, applicants can submit completed application forms until March 1 (February session) and September 1 (August session).

Details of the RET: To admitted to the Ph.D. program, students must pass the RET (objective-type). The RET will last one and a half hours and will divided into three portions covering aptitude and subject-specific knowledge. There are no negative markings for incorrect responses.

NET-JRF/NET-LS/SLET or GATE-qualified applicants are free from RET. Permanent teachers of DEI who have published at least two papers in a standard journal are also excluded.

Important Points:

• The Faculty of Arts solely accepts female candidates for M.Phil. programs.
• For applicants in the SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories, there is a 5% relaxation.
• RET is waived for candidates who hold an M.Phil. from DEI.

• Get the application form by getting in touch with DEI’s support desk counter.
• Apply online using SBI Collect and pay the Rs. 230 (for non-professional courses) or Rs. 270 (for professional courses) application fee by credit/debit card or net-banking.
