RTE Maharashtra Admission is conducted under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, which provides 25% reservation in private unaided schools for children from economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged groups.

The admission process for the academic year 2026–27 is conducted online through the official portal of the Maharashtra School Education Department.

Maharastra Educational Department has decided to improve the education system. So government of Maharashtra has launched an online portal named RTE Maharashtra Portal. RTE is named as Right to Education which is an act passed in the Indian parliament. Under this scheme, applicants will be getting free education to the financially weaker section.
